Nancy Pelosi not impressed with Freshman hero’s Twitter followers in latest troll
Nancy Pelosi is not impressed with AOC and other high-profile Twitter followers. In a world where millennial’s are so impressed with social network prowess Pelosi could care less.
Nancy Pelosi has made it clear that while she may have to listen to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar and Rashida Talib they are not as AOC said in climate change fit “the boss.” Pelosi either because she is drunk, high, forgot to take her Alzheimer pill never can remember the name of the Green New Deal, AOC’s plan to bankrupt the U.S. economy.
Now she has made it clear in a USA Today interview she is not impressed with the Freshman social media superstars Twitter followers.
The Old drunk made it clear that it’s not the number of followers that will impress her, but rather how good representatives are at passing legislation.
‘While there are people who have a large number of Twitter followers, what’s important is that we have a large number of votes on the floor of the house,’ she told USA Today on Monday.
Ocasio-Cortez has 3.87 million Twitter followers, while Pelosi had 2.42 million.
Pelosi has had her problems with remembering the Green New Deal the bombshell plan AOC has for saving mother earth and destroying the U.S. economy.
During an appearance at The Economic Club of Washington, D.C., Pelosi stuttered and stammered through her environmental response and began calling it the “Green Dream.”
“What is it?” she asked, looking at the moderator. “Green New Deal,” she said.
When Ocasio-Cortez introduced the Green New Deal, Pelosi ridiculed it, calling it the “Green Dream.”
“It will be one of several or maybe many suggestions that we receive,” Pelosi said in February. “The Green Dream or whatever they call it, nobody knows what it is, but they’re for it right?”
Pelosi and the entire Democrat party have been influenced by the instant notoriety the former bartender is getting. When Ilhan Omar got in hot water over being a Jew hater there were many calls to strip her of position on the Foreign Affairs committee. AOC stood up for the antisemitic Omar and Pelosi backed off. The House passed watered down correction of Omar.
Nancy Pelosi may say she is not impressed with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Twitter followers. But she is sure following her lead.
