Pocahontas says she supports Capitalism “with serious rules” after criticism of her “wealth tax”
Senator Elizabeth Pocahontas Warren is taking heat for her “wealth tax” proposal but instead of backing down she is doubling down on her radical ideas.
Warren said in a Bloomberg interview yesterday she supports Capitalism with “serious rules.” Well isn’t that special.
Warren said “capitalism without rules is theft” and defended her wealth-tax proposal as a way to raise revenue and bolster opportunity for ordinary Americans.
“I believe in capitalism. I see the wealth that can be produced, but let’s be really clear,” the Massachusetts senator said Wednesday in an interview with Bloomberg TV. “Encouraging companies to build their business models on cheating people — that’s not capitalism.”
She said she supports “capitalism with serious rules, and that means rules where everybody gets a chance to play.”
Warren, who announced her exploratory committee for a 2020 presidential bid, pushed back on criticisms of her wealth tax proposal — a 2 percent tax on household assets in excess of $50 million and a 3 percent tax on fortunes above $1 billion.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the new young radicals have moved the goalpost for old Democrats like Pocahontas. It used to be that radical Socialist Democrats did their best especially around election time to paint themselves as “moderates.” With Ocasio-Cortez and the success of Bernie Sanders (he would’ve been the Democrat nominee if not for the election being rigged for Crooked Hillary) Democrats are parading their Socialism for all to see.
Radical Socialism is now very cool in the Democrat party. They are redefining themselves and it aint pretty. A wealth tax is just another step towards the Democrat party becoming the Socialist party.
