Nancy Pelosi says “It is really quite a sad thing” when asked about Trump’s SOTU comments on banning late term abortions
Nancy Pelosi was asked about President Trump’s comments on banning late term abortions today and she was either drunk or off her medication again. Her response is both very insensitive and incoherent. She said it was quite a sad thing.
“It’s really quite a sad thing when you know that we’ll be talking about something that applies to the health and life — health and ability to have other children of women,” said Pelosi. “I hope that in his family, he never has to face that crisis and apply his attitude toward it.
Pelosi was responding to the below comments from Trump in the SOTU address.
There could be no greater contrast to the beautiful image of a mother holding her infant child than the chilling displays our Nation saw in recent days. Lawmakers in New York cheered with delight upon the passage of legislation that would allow a baby to be ripped from the mother’s womb moments before birth. These are living, feeling, beautiful babies who will never get the chance to share their love and dreams with the world. And then, we had the case of the Governor of Virginia where he basically stated he would execute a baby after birth. To defend the dignity of every person, I am asking the Congress to pass legislation to prohibit the late-term abortion of children who can feel pain in the mother’s womb.
Trump has put the Democrats and Pelosi in quite a position. They are being forced to defend murder. New York held a celebration complete with Andrew Cuomo ordering One World Trade Center to be lit in pink for the Reproductive Health Act that includes abortion up till birth. Ralph Notham is downright gleeful about abortions right up till birth in Virginia.
And Nancy Pelosi thinks it is quite a sad thing babies can’t be killed up till birth.
