Kim Jung Un is a threat to Japan fires Missile over Northern Japan
The Japanese Government says North Korea has launched a missile which passed over northern Japan.
The Japanese Government warned people in the north of the country to take precautions and shelter in their basements, according to public broadcaster NHK.
“We will make utmost efforts to firmly protect the lives of the people,” Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe told reporters in brief remarks as he entered his office for emergency meetings. The elephant in the room is Kim Jong Un is running out of time.
Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga said the missile launch posed a “grave, unprecedented threat”.
Reports said the missile flew 2,700 kilometres. NHK said the missile broke into three pieces and fell into waters off Hokkaido.
The unidentified projectile was fired from near the North Korean capital Pyongyang, South Korea’s military said.
The Government’s J-Alert warning system advised people in the area to take precautions, but NHK said there was no sign of damage.
The Japanese military did not attempt to shoot down the missile, which passed over Japanese territory around 6:06am local time.
It has been several weeks since Kim Jung midget threatened to attack Guam. President Trump responded by saying that the US would respond with “fire and fury” to any missile threat.
Mad Dog Mattis, the US Defence Secretary warned that a North Korean missile attack aimed at US territory “could escalate into war very quickly” saying US forces would know “within moments if one was heading toward Guam.
Japan is a very strong US ally. After WWII the Treaty of Mutual Cooperation and Security was signed between the United States and Japan.
Then, the Security Treaty was later amended further on January 1960 between the US and Japan in Washington.
When the Treaty was first signed, it contained provisions that permitted the United States to act for the sake of maintaining peace in East Asia and even exert its power on Japanese domestic quarrels.
The treaty established that any attack against Japan or the United States perpetrated within Japanese territorial administration would be dangerous to the respective countries’ own peace and safety. It requires both countries to act to meet the common danger. To support that requirement, it provided for the continued presence of US military bases in Japan.
Kim Jung Un is messing with fire. He is a narcissist isolationist dictator and starving for stardom. If he doesn’t stop he will see what “fire and fury” the US can bring down on him.
