Harvey Weinstein to turn himself in Friday to New York authorities, what a surprise related to Sexual misconduct charges
Disgraced Hollywood director Harvey Weinstein is expected to turn himself in to New York authorities Friday on charges of sexual misconduct. The Wall Street Journal had reported that the slime ball director was a suspected of sexual crimes in New York, Los Angeles and London.
Dozens of women including actresses the director has worked with have come forward to accuse Weinstein of sexual misconduct charges.
Weinstein has been accused of rape, assault and other forms of sexual misconduct. Previously, Weinstein’s representative said he sought treatment after the accusations and any allegations of non-consensual sex were “unequivocally denied.”
The charges against Harvey Weinstein started the #metoo movement to expose the sexual misconduct in Hollywood. Just this week a woman accused Morgan Freeman of sexual misconduct. He is just the latest of a long list of politicians, Hollywood leading men, celebrity chefs including Ben Vereen, celebrity chef Mario Batali, Garrison Keillor, Matt Lauer, Charlie Rose, Senator Al Franken and many others.
For months the allegations have been in the news about Harvey Weinstein. Now his accusers will have their day in court.
