Should schools ban children from having Best Friends because it’s not inclusive

ban children

Should schools ban children from having best friends because it’s not inclusive. This is the question from a US News and World Report story. This proves my point that liberalism exist to suck the fun and enjoyment out of life. Since probably the beginning of time people have had a best friend. The person they connect with the most. Why do liberals have to think every aspect of society has to be inclusive.

The NFL and NBA are not inclusive. They are over 70% black so why do schools have to be inclusive?

The author says, “Certainly in life we all benefit from having close friends and confidantes – those who really get us. On the other hand, there is something dreadfully exclusionary occurring when a middle schooler tells the girl sitting next to her that she is best friends with the girl sitting in front of them. Of course, this scenario plays out in a variety of ways, but child after child comes to my therapy office distressed when their best friend has now given someone else this coveted title.”

The author says that many reading his report will suggest that kids toughen up, (maybe so that they don’t become future snowflakes) but he is concerned about the bigger picture, which includes the pain associated with exclusion and the gentle comfort associated with inclusion.

“I am a huge fan of social inclusion. The phrase best friend is inherently exclusionary. Among children and even teens, best friends shift rapidly. These shifts lead to emotional distress and would be significantly less likely if our kids spoke of close or even good friends rather than best friends. And, if kids have best friends, does that also imply that they have “worst friends?” A focus on having best friends certainly indicates there’s an unspoken ranking system; and where there is a ranking system, there are problems. I see kids who are never labeled best friends, and sadly, they sit alone at lunch tables and often in their homes while others are with their best friends.”

What are parents to do then?Should they ban children from having best friends.  Certainly not tell your children to not have best friends. Maybe encourage them to have small groups of friends to be more inclusive. Everyone brings something different to the table. Our lives are richer if we are closer with a few others rather than putting all of our eggs in one basket, right? This is true for children and adults. Think of all the wonderful opportunities you may have missed if you socialized exclusively with only one friend.

Liberalism is truly a mental disorder. To even suggest that parents ban children from having best friends is just the latest move of liberals to remove fun from life. I suppose next will be you shouldn’t have boyfriend or girlfriend. That has probably already happened with gender neutral and the new sex robots.

Chinese Christians face choice between poverty and Jesus

Chinese Christians

Thousands of Chinese Christians in the poor rural southeast China are trading their posters of Jesus for portraits of President Xi Jinping as part of a government relief program that seeks to “transform believers in religion into believers in the party.

Control after all is the goal of Communism and it’s little brother Socialism. The past two and a half years the Chinese Government has become increasingly nervous of the growth in Christianity in China. Citing breaches in building codes the Government has removed 1,700 crosses from churches in Zhejiang province.

The Chinese Government and the Governments of most Communist countries is atheist. Earlier this month Xi Jinping made a speech on religious policy stating “we must resolutely guard against overseas infiltrations via religious means and prevent ideological infringement by extremist. “ Xi demanded that religious groups submit to the ruling party  and that religions become Chinese.

Chinese Christians in Jiangxi province are being forced to choose between poverty and their religious symbols. More than 11 percent of the province lives below the poverty level. A program is in place that will provide for these poor if they replace their religious symbols for Portraits of the Communist leader.

In Yugan, the officially atheist party is competing for influence with Christianity, which has spread rapidly in both poor rural villages and prosperous cities since the end of the Cultural Revolution more than 40 years ago. By some estimates, Chinese Christians now outnumber the 90 million members of the party.

Qi Yan, chairman of the Huangjinbu people’s congress and the person in charge of the township’s poverty-relief drive, said the campaign had been running across the county since March. He said it focused on teaching Christian families how much the party had done to help eradicate poverty and how much concern Xi had shown for their well-being.

“Many poor households have plunged into poverty because of illness in the family. Some resorted to believing in Jesus to cure their illnesses,” Qi said. “But we tried to tell them that getting ill is a physical thing and that the people who can really help them are the Communist Party and General Secretary Xi.”

“Many rural people are ignorant. They think God is their saviour … After our cadres’ work, they’ll realise their mistakes and think: we should no longer rely on Jesus, but on the party for help,” Qi said.

Many believers did not do so voluntarily, Liu said.

“They all have their belief and, of course, they didn’t want to take them down. But there is no way out. If they don’t agree to do so, they won’t be given their quota from the poverty-relief fund,” he said.

But Qi dismissed claims that the funds were contingent on the religious posters being removed.

“We only asked them to take down [religious] posters in the centre of the home. They can still hang them in other rooms, we won’t interfere with that. What we require is for them not to forget about the party’s kindness at the centre of their living rooms.”

It was not an either-or situation, Qi said.

“They still have the freedom to believe in religion, but in their minds they should [also] trust our party.”

Chinese Christian should be an example to US millennials who according to a recent survey have a favorable opinion of former chairman Mao and other Communist leaders. With total Government control the tradeoff is total personal control.

Tomi Lahren maybe More God, More Jesus and More Compassion are what we need in the wake of latest school shooting

Tomi Lahren

Conservative commentator Tomi Lahren will of course be ridiculed by the left for here final words on the Florida shooting. Lahren says maybe what we need is more God, more Jesus and more compassion.

“Evil will always be in this world. And evil people will always find evil ways to do evil things. The solution isn’t to start stripping away rights. What we ought to do is make it easier for law enforcement to engage and evaluate individuals who exhibit warning signs, like making graphic threats online, or posting disturbing images,” she said.

“You know, thoughts and prayers might seem laughable to some of you. But maybe, just maybe, more Jesus, more God, more prayer and more compassion is what we are missing.”

Tomi Lahren is absolutely correct education expert William Jeynes says that there is a correlation between the decline of U.S. public schools and the U.S. Supreme Court’s 1962 and 1963 decision that school-sponsored Bible reading was unconstitutional.

“One can argue, and some have, that the decision by the Supreme Court – in a series of three decisions back in 1962 and 1963 – to remove Bible and prayer from our public schools, may be the most spiritually significant event in our nation’s history over the course of the last 55 years,” Jeynes said.

I think in addition to removing prayer and the Bible from schools removing discipline from schools and the home are the root cause of this violence. When we started giving students and our children “time out” and reasoning with them instead of a loving spanking respect went out the window. The answer to any problem that is going on in society, Government, the White House and your house is More God, More Jesus, More Prayer and More Compassion.

Dennis Rodman say Kim Jong un had a change of heart after reading Trumps Art of the deal

Dennis Rodman

Dennis Rodman in a recent interview with TMZ says that giving Kim Jong un a copy of Trump’s Art of the deal may have began to change his mind on negotiating with Trump. Rodman has had a connection with Kim Jong un for quite some time and considers him a friend.

The book was given to North Korean Sports Minister Kim Il-guk during his during his June 2017 trip to Pyongyang.

“I think he didn’t realize who Donald Trump was at that time,” Rodman said of Kim. “I guess it felt good to read that book. It felt good to understand him, stuff like that.”

“I don’t want to take all the credit,” Rodman said modestly. “I don’t want to sit there and say, ‘I did this. I did that.’ That’s not my intention. My intention was to try to go over there and be a sports ambassador to North Korea so that people understand how they are in North Korea. I think it has resonated into this whole point now.”

“I don’t ask Donald Trump for anything. I like Donald Trump. He’s a good friend,” Rodman clarified. He claimed he was asked by the government of North Korea to “talk to Donald Trump about what they want and how we could solve things.”

Rodman said Trump was aware of his trips to North Korea long before he became president and judged it would be a “great thing” for him to continue going there as a sort of unofficial goodwill ambassador and barometer of Kim Jong-un’s mood.

“All of a sudden, people are calling me and asking, ‘Why aren’t you getting the credit because you’re the one who brought awareness of everything about the hostages and about the people that are over there? And all of a sudden, he started letting people go,’” Rodman claimed, presumably referring to North Korea’s release of captive student Otto Warmbier, who died shortly after his release.

Dennis Rodman said his response to those who believe he deserves credit for the diplomatic opening to North Korea is, “I’m not the president. I’m just one person. I’m so happy that things are going well.”

Obama buddy Louis Farrakhan calls for an end to White Man, his reason will shock you

white man

Obama buddy Louis Farrakhan calls for an end to White man in a series of Sunday tweets. In one day there are a furry of tweets calling for an end to white people with even some hatred for Jewish people thrown in. Farrakhan first tweets “Why should there be an end to him (White man)? Because his nature is not in harmony with the nature of God.

He goes on to say “White man was only given 6,000 years (6 days) to rule. You cannot deny he has ruled but on what principle did he rule? Righteousness? Truth? Justice? Fairness? I don’t think so.”

Farrakhan the 84 year old leader of the Nation of Islam has made a living spreading hate and fear. He goes on to say murder is in the white man’s nature and calls white men liars.

Aesop said “A man is known by the company he keeps.” Barack Hussein Obama kept company with Louis Farrakhan and the Reverend Jeremiah Wright. Below are two of the more famous racist comments by Wright.

“The government gives them [African Americans] the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three-strike law and then wants us to sing ‘God Bless America.’ No, no, no, God damn America, that’s in the Bible for killing innocent people. God damn America for treating our citizens as less than human. God damn America for as long as she acts like she is God and she is supreme.”

After September 11, 2001, he said: “We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and black South Africans and now we are indignant because the stuff we have done overseas is now brought right back into our own front yards. America’s chickens are coming home to roost.”

It is no wonder that Obama wanted to suppress his friendship with a man who calls for the end of white man and another that says God damn America.

5 Reasons why Parkland school shooting happened that do not blame guns

students

On Wednesday afternoon the lives of 17 families in Parkland Florida changed and will never be the same again. Nikolas Cruz took a Uber to Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and opened fire with an ending the lives of 17 students  and teachers. A football coach was killed as a hero shielding students leaving behind a wife and children of his own. Yesterday I did not post anything as I was numb for these families. I have two kids still in High School and this could happen anywhere.

Liberals and liberal news is very quick to call for gun control as they did after the Las Vegas shootings. I think the issue is not a gun issue but a people issue. Every day in cities with some of the toughest gun control laws in the country people are murdered with guns. Chicago, Baltimore, Washington DC have some of the highest murder rates in the country and also some of the toughest gun control laws.

What is the problem? I believe there are 5 issues to blame for violence such as what happened in Parkland yesterday.

Lack of respect for authority. Although 19 states still allow corporal punishment in schools between 1974 and 1994, 25 states would ban the practice, recognizing that it was an ineffective and inappropriate school discipline measure.I am not sure what research they used but I graduated High School in 1979 and throughout my school years corporal punishment was allowed. The teachers had a paddle hanging on the chalkboard and almost daily there was a paddling in the hallway. Sitting in class I would hear 3 swats and students  in the classroom sat up and shut their mouths.

students

No respect for the sanctity of life. Since Roe Vs Wade ruling in 1979 there have been over 60 million very young lives ended through abortion before they began. Students grow up thinking this is acceptable. They see liberal politicians and even teachers supporting pro-choice. They do not see an example from leaders that the baby that was killed had no choice in the matter.

No parental leadership. More than 40% of traditional marriages end in divorce since 1980. Children are growing up in split households and the discipline is not happening in homes. Corporal punishment ended in the schools and more and more parents have ended it in the home. At some point some liberal came up with time-out and reasoning with children and this does not work. I am definitely not advocating child abuse but children need discipline and when they do not receive it students  have no respect for authority.

Violence in tv and video games. I know I will get push back here. Already on Twitter I had someone tell me I am a Communist and should move to North Korea where they have censorship. I am far from a Communist most would describe me as a right-wing extremist. I am saying parents should monitor what their kids are watching on TV and the video games they are playing. When my son was around 10 years old we went to a used video store and one of the video games he bought was people running from cops and being disrespectful. I went with him and made him take the game back and explained why this was wrong.

Lastly I believe the disrespect for police and the military are a reason for school shootings and mass shootings. For two years we have had the anthem debate with the NFL. Players starting with Colin Kaepernick started the movement to protest blacks being shot by police. No doubt there are a few bad cops and there have been wrongful deaths in the black and white community. The police and military are doing low paying jobs and supporting and protecting all of us. The NFL should be ashamed of themselves for teaching students hate and disrespect for police.

Susan Rice “NOTE TO SELF” nobody in the Obama administration is guilty of anything

Susan Rice

Top Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee are questioning former national security adviser Susan Rice about an “unusual” message she sent to herself on Jan 20, 2017 — President Trump’s Inauguration Day.

Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) questioned Rice why she sent a note detailing a conversation she observed on Jan. 5 between then-FBI Director James Comey and then-President Barack Obama.

“It strikes us as odd that, among your activities in the final moments on the final day of the Obama administration, you would feel the need to send yourself such an unusual email purporting to document a conversation involving President Obama and his interactions with the FBI regarding the Trump/Russia investigation,” they wrote in a letter to Rice.

The Senators said that the memo repeatedly stressed how Obama wanted “everything done by the book.” Since when has Obama been a by the book kind of guy. How many executive orders did he sign. How many of our enemies did he send American cash?

“The President stressed that he is not asking about, initiating or instructing anything from a law enforcement perspective. He reiterated that our law enforcement team needs to proceed as it normally would by the book,” Rice wrote, according to an excerpt included in the senators’ letter.

“From a national security perspective, however, President Obama said he wants to be sure that, as we engage with the incoming [Trump] team, we are mindful to ascertain if there is any reason that we cannot share information fully as it relates to Russia.”

This Susan Rice note to self is ridiculously juvenile. Does Hillary Clinton have a similar email written to herself that she had nothing to do with paying for the Steele dossier? Does Bill Clinton have one that says “I did not have sex with that woman” (any of them)?  Does Nancy Pelosi have a note that she really did not mean to sound like an elitist when she said $1,000-$2,000 bonuses were “crumbs.” Does California Democrat Doris Matsui have a note that she did not fall asleep while Nancy Pelosi filibustered for 8 hours for illegals? This is ridiculous and it is time for high level indictments to come down on the Obama administration.

Disclaimer this post contains affiliate link. Please see disclaimer for more information

Women be careful what you call sexual harassment lest real harassment is minimized

women

Women be careful what you call sexual harassment lest real sexual harassment is minimized. President Trump’s use of twitter is good and bad. It allows him to get out his message unfiltered through the mainstream press. This is a good thing because at best the press is biased and at worst when you are talking about CNN they flat-out lie.

The bad part about Trump using twitter is the whole banter back and forth with Senator Gillibrand. Gillibrand is trying to drum up support for removing Trump from office for past alleged sexual misconduct. She said Congress should open an investigation into the president because “it’s the right thing to do.”

“President Trump has committed assault, according to these women, and those are very credible allegations of misconduct and criminal activity, and he should be fully investigated and he should resign,” Gillibrand told CNN.

Trump who is not afraid of a fight took the bait. He went on twitter and called Gillibrand a lightweight flunky to Chuck Schumer (that’s the real insult here). And he said before he was President she would come to him begging for campaign contributions and do almost anything for them.

This is where the insanity steps in. Now Newsweek and loony Trump haters on twitter are suggesting that the President’s comments are sexual harassment toward Gillibrand.

What Trump said about Gillibrand is not sexual harassment. It was misguided possibly childish and non Presidential. But again Trump when attacked is going to attack back. He is not the typical Washington politician that is going to accept false accusations without repercussions

Sexual harassment is getting dangerously close to the watered down version of racism. Practically any comment by a white person now is racism. Probably me saying white person is racist. Women should be careful because it is obvious that there are men in the workforce, in politics and in Washington who are sexual predators. Women need protection. But you better be careful crying wolf.

Jeff Flake gives anti Trump rant speech to empty house, Dick Durbin only Senator to stick around

anti-trump

Senator Jeff Flake delivered an anti-Trump rant to an empty house today. Only Democrat Dick Durbin stuck around for the RINO Senators remarks. Durbin and a few reporters were all that were present for Flakes grandstanding.

“No longer can we compound attacks on truth with our silent acquiescence. No longer can we turn a blind eye or a deaf ear to these assaults on our institutions,” Flake said in his speech. “An American president who cannot take criticism — who must constantly deflect and distort and distract — who must find someone else to blame — is charting a very dangerous path. And a Congress that fails to act as a check on the President adds to the danger.”
Flake also compared Trump’s attacks on the news media to the rhetoric of late Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin and highlighted the longstanding consequences for Trump’s attacking the truth.
“For without truth, and a principled fidelity to truth and to shared facts, Mr. President, our democracy will not last,” Flake said.

He criticized the President for calling the news media the “enemy of the people,” calling it “an assault as unprecedented as it is unwarranted.”
https://youtu.be/QUMGLZv2wpY
“It is a testament to the condition of our democracy that our own President uses words infamously spoken by Joseph Stalin to describe his enemies,” he said. “It bears noting that so fraught with malice was the phrase ‘enemy of the people,’ that even Nikita Khrushchev forbade its use, telling the Soviet Communist Party that the phrase had been introduced by Stalin for the purpose of ‘annihilating such individuals’ who disagreed with the supreme leader.”

18 quotes from Trump’s Art of the Deal that help him run circles around his competition

negotiation

President Trump is always in a negotiation always has been. The Democrats and his RINO opposition are accustomed to spending other people’s money so their idea of negotiation is not the same as Trump’s. This is why Dick Durbin got spanked like a red-headed step child in the immigration meeting. Trump played him. Told him he would sign whatever bill they brought and take the heat. Then Durbin exposed his hand and Trump told him to pound sand.

What they do not realize is he has made his fortune in deal making. In fact he wrote a very popular book called the art of the deal. Many of these quotes have no doubt guided him in his first year of the Presidency.

MY STYLE of deal-making is quite simple and straightforward. I aim very high, and then I just keep pushing and pushing and pushing to get what I’m after.

I discovered, for the first time but not the last, that politicians don’t care too much what things cost. It’s not their money.

My people keep telling me I shouldn’t write letters like this to critics. The way I see it, critics get to say what they want to about my work, so why shouldn’t I be able to say what I want to about theirs?

I don’t hire a lot of number-crunchers, and I don’t trust fancy marketing surveys. I do my own surveys and draw my own conclusions.

The point is that if you are a little different, or a little outrageous, or if you do things that are bold or controversial, the press is going to write about you.

Leverage: don’t make deals without it.

Because much more often than you’d think, sheer persistence is the difference between success and failure.

I like thinking big. I always have. To me it’s very simple: if you’re going to be thinking anyway, you might as well think big. Most people think small, because most people are afraid of success, afraid of making decisions, afraid of winning. And that gives people like me a great advantage.

Most people think small because they are afraid of success, afraid of making decisions, afraid of winning.

The worst of times often create the best opportunities to make good deals.

“Our country is in serious trouble. We don’t have victories anymore. We used to have victories, but we don’t have them. When was the last time anybody saw us beating, let’s say China, in a trade deal? I beat China all the time. All the time.”

“Sorry losers and haters, but my I.Q. is one of the highest -and you all know it! Please don’t feel so stupid or insecure, it’s not your fault.”

“He’s not a war hero,” Trump explained, shocking the event’s moderator. “He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured

I will build a great wall — and nobody builds walls better than me, believe me –and I’ll build them very inexpensively. I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will make Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words.”

“I’ve read hundreds of books about China over the decades. I know the Chinese. I’ve made a lot of money with the Chinese. I understand the Chinese mind.”

“good publicity is preferable to bad, but from a bottom-line perspective, bad publicity is sometimes better than no publicity at all. Controversy, in short, sells.”

“And if it can’t be fun, what’s the point?”

“The final key to the way I promote is bravado. I play to people’s fantasies. People may not always think big themselves. but they can get very excited by those who do. That is why a little hyperbole never hurts. People want to believe that something is the biggest, the greatest and the most spectacular.”

Rodman says Trump and Kim Jong Un basically the same, both enjoy control

Rodman

Dennis Rodman says Kim Jong Midget and President Trump are basicly the same. The ex-Chicago Bulls power forward – who has swigged vodka with Kim and been fired by Trump on Celebrity Apprentice – believes the two unpredictable leaders “are pretty much the same people”.

“They love control,” Rodman said in Beijing, adding that warnings of nuclear peril are harmless “entertainment”. “Ain’t nobody got no finger on the button.”

As tensions grow between Pyongyang and Washington, Rodman, 56, has styled himself as an international peacemaker ready to help strike a deal. He arrived in China on Monday following stops in Tokyo and US territory Guam.

He hoped to arrange a trip to Pyongyang, which he has visited five times, but was stymied by a US ban against American citizens travelling to the country.

“We thought we would give it a shot while we’re here,” Rodman said, adding that he is working on obtaining a “special pass” from Trump to visit North Korea early next year.

Disclaimer this post contains affiliate link. Please see disclaimer for more information

Amazon

While there, he plans to make a documentary and write a book about his relationship with Kim.

Rodman believes he can “alleviate some pressures as far as communication” between the US and North Korea.

On one of his North Korea trips in 2013 and 2014, “[Kim] gave me three things … to say to the president,” he said. “They asked us: can you go back to America to ask them to do this for us?”

For years, Rodman kept these three “pretty reasonable” requests secret because Kim told him being a middleman might put him in danger. But that was before Trump became president.

“This whole thing with me, [Kim] and Donald Trump – it’s a whole different dynamic right now,” said Rodman. “I said to [Trump] I got three things to say to you, and after that, he told me to f*** off.”

Now, Rodman plans to organise a basketball game between players from North Korea and Guam, a Pacific island which the North has threatened to hit with missiles. The match would be held in the “neutral site” of Beijing, Rodman said.

While he has yet to clear the idea with authorities, he hopes that such a game would “give something historical for everyone to see” – to show that “there’s no hatred at all” on either side.

Rodman – who calls Kim the “marshal” and says the dictator dubbed him a “friend for life” – has played drinking games, sung karaoke and ridden horses with the 33-year-old strongman.

He characterised the leader as a “21st-century guy” who has had to bear the fallout of the decisions made by “tyrants” like his father and grandfather, North Korea’s founding leader Kim Il-sung.

“[Kim Jong-Un] is in a position where he probably wants to do a lot of things that are really positive,” Rodman said. “I think that the structure of the system just don’t let him do it. I’ve seen that. You see him be happy, and then, all of a sudden you see him pull back. He wants to pull that trigger where he wants to let his people be more free.”

This is funny Kim Jong Midget wants to do a lot of really positive things. I am sure this could be said of Hitler, Castro, Stalin, Mussolini many tyrannical dictators. Pharaoh in the Bible also wanted to do great things but in the end only God could persuade him to do the right thing. Dictators as well as Socialist and Liberals are the same.

President Trump and Kim Jong Midget are not the same. Kim enjoys the power and gets off on it and uses it to strike fear in others and for intimidation. Trump has used his power to build wealth and lead a Nation out of tyrannical leftist mess Obama created.
