Democratic Socialist smacked in the face with the cost of their terrible ideas
Democratic Socialist Bernie Sanders has received some help in promoting his terrible ideas with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez upset victory over Joe Crowley last month. The two have been traveling the country with rock star status from Democrats. It was even reported like big news that they played to a huge crowd in San Francisco. Socialism is so successful in that city they weigh the poop found on the streets. The streets of San Francisco are littered with drug syringes in one of the most liberal cities in the US.
The reality of free college education, healthcare, guaranteed jobs, guaranteed $15 minimum wage is somebody has to pay for these services. It is understandable that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez would not understand this stone cold fact. The Democratic Socialist has a degree in economics from Boston University yet recently could not explain Democratic Socialism. Bernie Sanders is a 76 year old Socialist Senate veteran he has to know these programs have to be paid for.
The Congressional budget office ran the numbers and the Democratic Socialist agenda would add 42 trillion dollars to the federal deficit over 10 years. It always happens with liberals and Socialist (really the same thing) the reality of their terrible ideas smacks them right in the face. The problem in the current environment is that millennials with worthless degrees from Socialist institutions such as Boston University have no concept that someone has to pay for their terrible ideas.
In case Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is reading this article Democratic Socialism is a political philosophy that advocates for political democracy so you can still have elections and such with social management of the means of production. The Government will control things such as College education, healthcare, things that contribute to production of economic value. Examples include raw materials, facilities, machinery and tools used in the production of goods and services.
I would think it would be safe to say that the US does not need Democratic Socialist such as Bernie Sanders or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez running anything having to do with the US economy.
