Parents in desperation go to court to get 30 year old son evicted from their home
Parents in New York have reached a level of desperation that they took their 30 year old son to court to evict him from their home. The parents probably did not want this publicity or for things to work out like this but desperate times bring desperate measures.
Christina and Mark Rotondo of Camillus had asked their son Rotondo to leave 5 times even offering to give him money to find a new place.
“I just wanted a reasonable amount of time to vacate, with consideration to the fact that I was not really prepared to support myself at the time of the notices,” he told CNN affiliate WSTM
The parents left their son several notes one even giving some suggestions on how he can get his shit together (they did not say it this strong).
“After a discussion with your Mother, we have decided you must leave this house immediately. You have 14 days to vacate. You will not be allowed to return. We will take whatever actions are necessary to enforce this decision.”
According to Pew Research more and more millinneals 25-35 year olds are living with their parents. The number is a staggering 15%. What are these snowflakes thinking? Why do they want to continue to live in their parents home.
According to Rotondo he was not expected for 8 years to contribute to the household either financially or thru helping out. He just grew to expect this treatment.
“It seems to me like I should be provided with, you know, 30 days or so, because generally you get 30 days after you’re found, you know, to have to vacate the premises,” he said. “So I’m expecting something like that. But realistically, if that’s not the case, I don’t know.”
What is wrong with a 30 year old who is still comfortable living at home?
