Addressing the elephant in the room

Why is Syria out of the news so quickly? Because it was successful

Why is Syria out of the news so quickly? On Friday the mainstream press could not get enough of the coverage of President Trump ordering targeted strikes on Syria. They especially pounced on the fact that he said mission accomplished. After all President George W. Bush said the same thing about Iraq and we still have troops in Iraq.

The press is off the Syria narrative and fully invested in James Comey’s stupid book and self-serving interview because the Syria strikes were successful.

The United States, Britain, and France pounded Syria in a coordinated air strike in response to a chemical weapons attack that killed approximately 60 people last week.

“I can assure you we took every measure and precaution to strike only what we targeted and we successfully hit every target,” Chief Pentagon spokesperson Dana White said Saturday.

President Trump says of the strikes “They were perfectly carried out, with such precision that the only way the Fake News Media could demean was by my use of the term “Mission Accomplished.” I knew they would seize on this but felt it is such a great Military term, It should be brought back. Use often!”

There are other reasons that the strikes were successful. They show our allies and enemy’s including Russia and North Korea that there is a new sheriff in town in the US. The days of a pacifist Barack Hussein Obama bowing and drawing red lines are over. North Korea is surely taking notice of this precision attack and taking notice that the US is locked and loaded and will not put up with the world’s bullies any longer.
