Pope Francis calls for the ban of all weapons, at least he has the guts to say what liberals really want
Pope Francis apparently speaking up on the recent discussion about denuclearization has proposed all weapons be banned. This is a position that liberals and the Pope has some pretty liberal if not Socialist views would be thrilled with. At least the Pope has the guts to come out and say it.
But the Pope if he had studied his bible and perhaps a little history would realize the total fallacy of his statement. There will never be peace in the world as long as there is sin. Because man will find a way to be at war and kill each other.
Pope Francis has long spoken out on weapons apparently leading followers to Christ is not his primary calling. In 2015 he indicated that weapons manufactures could not be Christians, so God must have told him he was the judge of their hearts.
“If you trust only men you have lost,” he told the young people in a longcommentary about war, trust and politics, after putting aside his prepared address.
“It makes me think of … people, managers, businessmen who call themselves Christian and they manufacture weapons. That leads to a bit of distrust, doesn’t it?” he said to applause.
Do we really want peace? Then let’s ban all weapons so we don’t have to live in fear of war.

In a 2017 talk to participants in a high-profile Vatican conference on nuclear disarmament the Pope condemned possession of nuclear weapons. Again I thought he was the leader of the catholic church and his primary role should be leading them to Christ and keeping his priest away from little boys.
Francis told the conference participants that humanity cannot fail “to be genuinely concerned by the catastrophic humanitarian and environmental effects of any employment of nuclear devices.”
“If we also take into account the risk of an accidental detonation as a result of error of any kind, the threat of their use, as well as their very possession, is to be firmly condemned,” he said.
“International relations cannot be held captive to military force, mutual intimidation, and the parading of stockpiles of arms,” the pope continued. “Weapons of mass destruction, particularly nuclear weapons, create nothing but a false sense of security. They cannot constitute the basis for peaceful coexistence between members of the human family.”
Pope Francis at least had the courage to say what all Socialist/liberals believe that a world absent of weapons would be a world absent of war. But this simply isn’t true. If the Pope read the Bible instead of making political statements he could see how Samson killed 1,000 men with the jawbone of an ass. What are you going to propose next pontiff that animal bones be banned?
