Former President George W. Bush says Trump makes me look pretty good by comparison
Former (thank God) President George W. Bush is once again mouthing off about President Trump It is disgusting how he had absolutely nothing to say during the 8 years Barack Hussein Obama was trying to destroy America. George W. Bush apparently told a Republican source recently that Trump makes him look pretty good by comparison.
“Bush is often heard to remark, unable to stifle his trademark smirk: ‘Sorta makes me look pretty good, doesn’t it?’” the source told the National Journal.
The Trump administration told the outlet that the former Republican president regularly criticizes Trump’s administration for being in a state of chaos.
“He’s shaking his head like everyone else wondering why they can’t get their act together,” the source added. “He wants the guy to succeed but thinks a lot of his problems are self-inflicted.”
George W. Bush has a history of trashing President Trump. Bush is part of the swamp he never said a word while Obama trashed America and tried his best to destroy our country for 8 years. In October speech at the George W. Bush institute the younger Bush trashed the president’s nationalist ideology, all while arguing that globalism and foreign intervention is key for the U.S. to succeed in the future.
“We’ve seen nationalism distorted into nativism, and forgotten the dynamism that immigration has always brought to America,” he said.
The elder Bush has been more subtle trashing Trump in his book released last October.
“I don’t like him,” George H.W. Bush said in the book. “I don’t know much about him, but I know he’s a blowhard. And I’m not too excited about him being a leader.”
Talk about the swamp defending the swamp the elder Bush told the New York Times that he and Barbara voted for Hillary Clinton. George W. Bush did not vote for either candidate. The Bush’ got 12 years to be President and all they gave us is increased taxes (George HW Bush promised “No New Taxes”) and both got the US bogged down in extended wars with Iraq and Afghanistan. Where are the weapons of Mass destruction George?
