Trump taking heat for saying Democrats treasonous, what would you call wanting to overthrow the President?
President Trump is taking heat for calling the Democrats treasonous in a speech at a Ohio factory yesterday. Let’s examine the definition of treason. Treason is the crime of betraying one’s country, especially by attempting to kill the sovereign or overthrow the government. What is the Mueller investigation and the FISA abuse scandal about at the core? The end game of the investigation and the Russia dossier is to overthrow or impeach Trump.
President Trump was never supposed to win. Hillary Clinton said it herself when she said after a Matt Lauer interview “If that k–king bastard wins we will all hang from nooses.” Hillary knew what was happening with the dossier and the effort to keep Trump from being President.

The President’s remarks were about the Democrats response to the State of the Union where they staged a sit down protest to good news for America. I do not believe being loyal opposition is treasonous. After all I never watched a Barack Hussein Obama State of the Union because I could not stomach it. My opposition was to Obama because I knew he hated America and his policies were Anti-America.
His treason quip on Monday triggered an uproar among Democrats. The White House quickly responded that the president was joking, although Trump hasn’t said – or tweeted – as much.
Illinois Sen. Tammy Duckworth, a double amputee veteran of the Iraq War, tweeted her umbrage, working in a reminder that Trump had deferments during the Vietnam War for bone spurs.
“We don’t live in a dictatorship or a monarchy,” she wrote. “I swore an oath-in the military and in the Senate-to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, not to mindlessly cater to the whims of Cadet Bone Spurs and clap when he demands I clap.”
House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi tweeted that, “Every American should be alarmed by how @realDonaldTrump is working to make loyalty to him synonymous with loyalty to our country. That is not how democracy works.”
Some Republicans, too, said Trump had gone too far.
“You don’t have to always agree with those on the other side of the aisle, but all members of Congress love their country, and none are treasonous,” wrote Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Arizona.
Loyal opposition to the President of the United States is as American as apple pie. Disagreement with Trump is not treasonous. But Democrats treasonous behavior in the FISA abuse scandal is a National tragedy. If the press were doing their jobs at all we would be holding trials for Obama, Hillary, Comey and many others.
